About the College
Healthcare Management Institute of the KEM Hospital commonly known as HMI, was started in 2007 with an aim to create capable and efficient hospital administrators. HMI has welcomed graduates and diploma holders from any discipline along with General Nurse Midwives (GNMs) into this field; chief medical officers, senior doctors from CGHS, matrons and nurses, colonels in the army and marketing professionals studying alongside fresh graduates to name a few.
Most popularly known for its Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Management program (PGDHM), HMI conducts this program in affiliation with the Savitribhai Phule Pune University. It is a one-year part-time program where students come from different parts of India and from around the world. These students range from 25 to over 60 years of age.
Over the years, HMI has gained enormous demand, owing to the excellent quality of teaching by the faculty, exhaustive study material and books along with a training in soft skills, interview techniques and management skills.
